Golf on the Costa del Sol

Añoreta Golf is the pioneering course of the Axarquía–Costa del Sol, established in 1990 and designed by José María Cañizares. It features 18 holes, par 72, and a 6,016-meter layout. With over three decades of golfing tradition, this parkland-style course offers a blend of technical challenge and accessibility for players of all skill levels. In addition, the resort includes a paddle tennis club and comprehensive facilities for maximum enjoyment.

Well-maintained greens and fairways. Quite a difficult field. Several blind holes. Negative point: quite close to the highway. Long distances between holes and crossings over public roads. Buggy is almost essential.

We booked three nights in one of the suites. Our room was very spacious, bright, and well equipped. The bedding was very comfortable. The hotel is very well located: a 2-minute drive from the highway and 5 minutes from the sea. It was very quiet, with ample parking. We will gladly return!

An unusual golf course due to its location. The course is technical and undulating, very well maintained, and we had a great time.
